Welcome to the HCVA Website.

Established in 1964 the Historic Commercial Vehicle Association (HCVA) is an enthusiasts association, involved in the restoration, preservation and operation of the Commercial Vehicles.
Our members share interests in buses, trucks, and the day to day operation of commercial vehicles.
 

We meet monthly at the NRMA Training Centre,
George St North Strathfield,
on the second Friday of each month at 8pm.


The HCVA is actively involved in organising events for its members, from tours in vintage vehicles to Rally days where a number of vehicles attend one location for a 'show and shine' style event.
HCVA is also a member of the Council of Motor Clubs NSW,
and is involved in various events with other organisations.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
AND CALL FOR HCVA COMMITTEE MEMBERS NOMINATIONS

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the
HISTORIC COMMERCIAL VEHICLE ASSOCIATION INC.
will be held at the NRMA Training rooms, George St, Nth Strathfield NSW,
on Friday 11th December 2009 commencing at 8.30pm.

The business to be conducted is as follows:
1. To receive the report of the Committee for the year ended 30th September 2009
2. To receive the Annual Accounts Report for the year ended 30th September 2009.
3. To elect five Committee members for the ensuing year.
(President, Vice President, Secretary, Events Coordinator, Vehicle Registrar)
4. Proposal to alter HCVA Fee Structure to simplify and streamline fees.
5. Any other business that may be lawfully brought before the meeting pursuant to the Rules.
 

NOMINATIONS FOR HCVA COMMITTEE MEMBERS

NOMINATIONS ARE HEREBY CALLED from Members for election to the HCVA Committee.
Nominations are required to be duly proposed and seconded by a financial and active member,
and be lodged by post to P.O. Box 97, Strathfield, NSW 2135.

Nominations must be received by close of business on Friday 4th December 2009.
Members are reminded that the nominees must be active members at the time of nomination and must have been a member of the HCVA for a minimum of 12 months prior to the date of the election
