Exclusive members only area now available!

We can now announce we have set up an exclusive members only section of our website, so far allowing members to view meeting minutes. We hope to add more to this section in the future including membership renewals etc. For the time being, any new or renewed member who has provided us with an email address will be give a username and password for the website. Members with this account will use their membership number as the username eg. 123 and their date of birth as their password using six numbers only eg. 18th January 1982 would be 180182 as the password. When you log in you will have access to the meeting minutes page which is only available to current financial members.

We have been working hard to get our new membership form available for download on the website and we are happy to announce it is now available for download. 2012 Committee Decide On Roles

After a brief private meeting held on 20/12/2011 the incoming committee have decided on their roles for the year ahead.

Kurt Williams – President
Winston Khong – Vice President
Mathew Barber – Secretary
Dean Jones – Treasurer & Memberships
Riad Chahal – Vehicle Registrar

An events sub-committee will also be set up in the new year with the HCVA currently seeking expressions of interest for anyone who wishes to be a part of this. We ask that any applicants be a current financial member of the H.C.V.A.

2011 Annual General Meeting

The Historic Commercial Vehicle Association held it’s Annual General meeting on Friday 9^th December 2011, as per company rules the current committee stood down and a majority of these members did not wish to seek another term. The following members were nominated and accepted by the 15 members present

Kurt Williams
Mathew Barber
Dean Jones
Winston Khong
Riad Chahal (nominated to continue his service on the committee for another year)

Their roles are yet to be decided, however it is expected that more information in that regard will be presented within the next issue. On behalf of the 2011 committee I wish these gentlemen the best of luck in continuing to steer the association, as it’s golden anniversary approaches in 2014
